Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das met BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq at BGMEA office. They had discussion on how to enhance bilateral trade between Bangladesh and India. The Indian High Commissioner said Bangladesh’s RMG export to India is increasing due to duty-free access to the neighboring market.

The BGMEA President said India is a promising market for Bangladesh’s RMG sector. On the other hand, India exports raw materials, including fabrics to Bangladesh.
